Derrick L. Johnson
Derrick L. Johnson is an experienced educator, youth advocate, and community leader with over 25 years dedicated to empowering adolescents and underserved populations. With a background in special education, administration, and youth development, he has held roles as a teacher, Dean of Students, nonprofit founder, and football coach. His work consistently focuses on disrupting the school-to-prison pipeline and creating equitable opportunities for youth. As President of the Caring and Sharing Foundation, Derrick brings a wealth of leadership, lived experience, and a deep commitment to service, mentorship, and lasting community impact.

Ann Jurcyk
Ann is the Virginia Director of Outreach and Advocacy for the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, leading citizen engagement and environmental policy efforts to protect water quality. A certified Chesapeake Bay Landscape Professional and accomplished restoration designer, she brings decades of experience in advocacy and sustainable landscape design. Ann also serves on the Boards of Trees Virginia and the Bay Program’s Citizen Advisory Committee.

Patricia Harris
Pat Harris is a retired Information Technology professional from the Federal Reserve Bank and a Certified Urban Agriculturalist with a passion for food justice and community health. After managing Eden’s Garden at Second Baptist Church for five years, Pat co-founded the Broad Rock Farmer’s Market in 2021 under the direction of the Caring and Sharing Foundation. Located in a designated food desert, the market provides access to fresh produce and empowers local residents to grow their own food.
Her leadership in urban agriculture, combined with a deep commitment to "building a healthy community," continues to shape the foundation’s mission of education, access, and empowerment.

Gail is a nationally recognized leader in behavioral health and substance use prevention with over 30 years of public service. As former Director of the Office of Behavioral Health Wellness for Virginia, she led statewide initiatives addressing mental health, opioids, and health disparities. In retirement, she continues to consult nationally while also serving her community through board service and volunteerism.

Known for her interpersonal strengths, Danielle is passionate about serving diverse communities with empathy and professionalism.
